| Length of
Career |
Played cricket nearly all me
days, school then club. |
| Previous Clubs |
Crosshill C.C., Dunfermline
C.C., Dunfermline Carnegie C.C., Dunfermline Wanderers C.C.,
Fife Police C.C., Scottish Police XI. |
| Most Memorable
Moment(s) |
Scoring the winning runs in
a match winning partnership of 86 to beat Merseyside Police
in the British Police cup. Taking two hat-tricks (Westquarter
and Leith Beige). Running Tom Gibson out v St Modans and the
scoring 48* in 17 balls to win the match. Watching the Red
Arrows swoop over the ground when Sadie hit his 150 v Old
Contemptibles and forming The Mighty Wanderers. |
| Most
Forgettable Moment(s) |
Calling for a catch v Kismet
in 2006 and totally missing it! Behaviour of a certain
individual on the field of play (Pikes mate who drives
trains!) |
| Best Player
Played Alongside |
Wayne Sullivan, Starkie (in
the good old days of the grades), Sadie Harrower, Colin
Campbell, Paul Norman. David Miller. |
| Best Player
Played Against |
Drew Pryde Drumpellier C.C,
Ashok Malhotra (never played in the same side only against
him). Can't remember his first name but the chap Cowan from
Freuchie. |
| Cricketing
Idol(s) |
Anyone who gives committment
to the Wanderers! Glenn McGrath and I.T. Botham. |
| Cricketing
Ambition(s) |
To bring on new talent into
the Wanderers' family, to keep playing as long as possible
and to ensure that Dunfermline Wanderers contine to make
alliances and gain respect from our peers and fellow
combatants. And hopefully one day score a ton! Which didn't
really bother me until last season's game v Kismet!!!! |
| Favourite
Ground |
The Ropery Chester le
Street, Co Durham, Trent Bridge. |
| Cricketing Pet
Hates |
Last minute call offs. Club
officials who have no regard whatsoever for any
democratic procedure and openly lie to their own members.
Cheats. People who do not play for the team and anybody who
drinks Budweiser regularly. |
| Funniest
Moment(s) in Cricket |
The bold Kev and Richard
McMullens getting into a huge run out tangle v Trinity a few
years ago resulting in Kev running like a man possesed to
get to his ground only to find they had thrown it at the
other end. |
| Who do I
admire the most? |
Gotta be Drew, always there
for the club and gives 100% when he's not boring the square
leg umpire to tears. Gets on with it without any complaints
though some rotten folk give constant pelters (that'll be me
then). |
| Favourite Food |
Liver n Onions! |
| Favourite
Drink |
Might come as a surprise but
I quite like lager and Jack D with coke and ice. |
| Favourite Film |
Pulp Fiction and most war
movies and anything with Lynsey Dawn McKenzie in it!!!! |
| Favourite
Music |
Paul Simon (still got 2
tickets for last years concert) and most Brit Pop stuff man! |
